Local singer Stefanie Sun married her long-time boyfriend Nadim Van Der Ros on May 8.
Good friend and singer Jolin Tsai, who held her concert in Singapore on May 7, also attended the wedding banquet. Wearing a simple yet slightly cleavage-revealing evening gown, Jolin was seen happily snapping pictures with her mobile phone throughout the night.
When interviewed by the media, Jolin not only gave Stefanie her blessings, but also expressed that she hopes her best friend will have a baby soon.
A reporter commented that her revealing evening gown might steal away Stefanie's limelight, Jolin replied that "(Stefanie) wanted something elegant, which was why I chose this". The singer added that she will not rush to catch the bride's bouquet when it is being thrown.
While the media speculated if Jolin's rumoured boyfriend Vivian Dawson attended the banquet, wedding guests later told reporters that Vivian snuck into the ballroom when Jolin was being interviewed. They also let on that Jolin and Vivian sat at the same table.
After the newlyweds' solemnisation ceremony, Jolin caught up with Stefanie in her room and gave her friend a Hermes canvas bag as her wedding gift.
